In 2010, COHEN released their first LP “Subconscious Mind”: Recorded by 413 and mixed and mastered by Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lövstrom (Refused, Poison The Well, Hell is for Heroes, In Flames,…) in Tonteknik Studios (Sweden).
The album contains 9 tracks, including a collaboration performed by Aitor Goikoetxea of Berri Txarrak and it was reviewed as one of the best hardcore albums in that year by specialized music media such as Rockzone, Mondosonoro, Zona-Zero, The Backstage, Entzun!, Gara, Feiticeira…to mention a few.
During 2010 and 2011, the band dedicated themselves to a long-exhausting and successful promotional tour including shows all over Spain and having played in some important festivals such as Resurrection Fest, Festimad, Opening shows for Berri Txarrak, etc.
It tastes like fire
is that what you wanted?
Medicine won’t cure me of doubt:
is this going to be the end forever?
We both know your weak words are in vain
bleeding heart, dehydrated skin, I can barely breathe
Regret dies with empty conversations
I wish I could sleep tonight...
I have condemned myself
Who can self build with something like this?
This is killing me
One wound for every look
This is like living inside a walking corpse
a thousand ants biting my throat
Can’t digest them by myself
I need to breathe, here there’s no oxygen
I have condemned myself
Who can self build with something like this?
This is killing me
One wound for every look
I need a whisper to calm myself down
I can forget but I won’t forgive
